Emmy-winning composer Sheridan Tongue (Silent Witness, DCI Banks) has scored Race to the Summit, a 90-minute feature that launches worldwide on Netflix on Wednesday 4th October.

Race to the Summit unfolds the intersecting narratives of two Swiss rival alpinists, Dani Arnold and Ueli Steck, as they set solo speed records climbing the perilous north faces of the Alps - and capture the world’s attention in doing so.

The film is made by Pitch International and is its fifth collaboration with Netflix. The directors are Nicholas de Taranto & Goetz Werner.

Sheridan's other forthcoming documentary projects include The Great Rhino Robbery for Sky which broadcasts next year.
