Games That Rock The World drops on Roku Channel

Sanj Sen scores music for new series

Games that Rock the World, a major new documentary series from Talesmith is now streaming on The Roku Channel. Theme and related music is by BAFTA-nominated Sanj Sen (Danger Mouse).

The four-part series offers entertainingly fresh insights into the history of video games, from the earliest groundbreaking titles to today’s leading franchises, with each episode focusing on a different gaming genre.

Legends of the industry including Nolan Bushnell, Steve Russell and Tommy Tallarico tell the story from the conception of the first video games to the creation of an industry estimated to be worth more than 400 billion dollars today.

Placing gaming in a wider cultural context, the series explores how video games have taken on influences from the world around them and have in turn created a lasting impact on wider global culture.

The series is produced and directed by Ollie Elliott. Showrunner is Simon Lloyd.
