Sanj Sen and Alex Ball take on more Supertato adventures
Heading to CBeebies and BBC iPlayer later this year is the second season of hit animation, Supertato (52x7’) to be scored by Sanj Sen (Danger Mouse) and co-writer Alex Ball.
Co-produced with BBC Studios and Tencent Video and based on the bestselling books by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet, the show will follow the adventures of the world’s first potato superhero as he tackles the mischievous Evil Pea in (where else) the supermarket aisles.
Writers are Andrew Emerson and Doug Sinclair with Blue Zoo and Plug-In Media providing the animation.

It serves a population of 3.2 million people across Greater Manchester and Cheshire with more than a quarter of its patients referred from across the UK.
