Nikhil and Jay
52-part animation series comes to Channel
Renowned composers Sidh Solanki and Shridhar Solanki (Ghee Happy) are to bring their musical magic to CBeebies' forthcoming longform show, Nikhil and Jay.
Based on the book series of the same name by award-winning author Chitra Soundar, the animated series will follow the adventures of the dynamic duo Nikhil and Jay and highlight the similarities and differences between South Asian and British cultures.
Commenting on their involvement in the project, Shridhar Solanki expressed his enthusiasm for contributing to the show: "We are so excited to be joining the Nikhil and Jay team and helping to bring their musical world to life."
Nikhil and Jay is a King Banana production for CBeebies. The show airs on CBeebies in 2024.
