Acclaimed composer brings his unique sound to brand new show
Paul Farrer has composed the original score for ITV’s brand-new quiz show Millionaire Hot Seat which aired in January 2026.
Well known for his dynamic, high-energy music on some of the UK’s biggest entertainment formats including The Chase, The Weakest Link and The Wheel, Paul has crafted a brand new music package for the series - blending tension, pace and cinematic flair to elevate the show’s fast-fire structure.
Hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, Millionaire Hot Seat is ITV’s fresh take on the iconic Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? format, with contestants battling the clock - and each other - for the chance to win £1m.
The 18x30 minute series is a Stellify Media production for ITV. The producer is Kirsty Proffitt. The show is filmed at MediaCityUK in Salford.

It serves a population of 3.2 million people across Greater Manchester and Cheshire with more than a quarter of its patients referred from across the UK.
