The Composerworks is delighted to announce that acclaimed composer David Housden has joined our roster.
A BAFTA and Ivor Novello-nominated composer, David is renowned for his emotionally rich and immersive scores across video games, film, and television.
His standout work includes the award-winning score for Disney Illusion Island, Thomas Was Alone, the beautifully evocative Lost Words: Beyond the Page, and the high-energy soundtrack for Battletoads. With a signature style that blends orchestral depth with innovative soundscapes, David has established himself as a leading talent in the world of interactive and visual media.
David’s work has earned international recognition, with accolades from the BAFTAs, Ivor Novello Awards, Develop Awards, Classic FM’s ‘Top 5 Video Game Composers’ and a TIGA award win on Lost Words. His ability to craft deeply emotive and narrative-driven music makes him a highly sought-after name in the industry.
Currently David is scoring Bonsai Collective's Dark, bullet-hell FPS Luna Abyss, Jaw Drop Games' dino survival-horror Deathground and unannounced projects with Dlala Studios and Flix Interactive.
