Scored by Soundology's Nainita Desai, The Deepest Breath tells the story of a champion freediver training to break a world record: plunging deep into the ocean with no supplemental oxygen, only breath-holding.

Freediving is one of the world’s most extreme sports — so extreme, that some of the most famous dive sites are considered more deadly than Mount Everest.

The Deepest Breath is produced by John Battsek, Sarah Thomson, Jamie D’Alton and Anne McLoughlin. It is a collaboration with A24, Motive Films, Ventureland and RAW and will have its world premiere at Sundance Film Festival in January 2023.
