New short film from Boulder Media scored by Sanj Sen

"Momento Mori" gets top award at first outing

Sanj Sen (Danger Mouse, Micronauts) has scored animated short film Momento Mori, made by Dublin-based animation house Boulder Media.

Set in the Victorian period, the film features post-mortem photographer Mr.Huxley who tends to his latest subject: a woman whose presence conjures Huxley's personal demons, compelling him to confront his narcissistic life.

The 8-minute film, from writer/director Paul O'Flanagan, premiered last week at the Galway Film Festival and won top spot in the Best Animated Short category. The win makes it eligible to be entered into this year's Academy Awards in the Best Animated Short Film category.
