Elmo, Cookie Monster and the BBC come together for The Furchester Hotel

Two of Sesame Street’s favorite characters are hopping the pond to star in a new children’s series called The Furchester Hotel.

The show will be co-produced by the first-time union of Sesame Workshop and its U.K. equivalent, the BBC’s preschool channel, CBeebies.

The Composer works’ composers, Marten Joustra and Andy Blythe, are scoring the music for the show which consists of numerous songs and score.

The show is about an adorable family of goofy monsters who are running an “almost” world-class hotel. That is, it would be world-class if the monster’s incompetent antics didn’t get in the way…

The Furchester Hotel premiered on CBeebies in the fall of 2014 and is now on the Sesame YouTube channel, available globally.
