Nainita Desai and Malcolm Laws score new ITV doc about Hitler’s final hours

The Day Hitler Died

Documentary team Nainita Desai and Malcolm Laws have scored a forthcoming ITV primetime documentary, The Day Hitler Died.

The documentary is the definitive story of Hitler’s final hours – told by people who were there. It features exclusive interviews filmed in 1948, which have never been seen before in the UK and only recently rediscovered after 65 years, with the inner circle who were trapped with Hitler in his bunker as the Russians fought to take Berlin. Parts of the bunker have been rebuilt according to this eyewitness testimony in order to forensically chart the last hours, days and minutes of the Fuhrer’s life.

The programme will be broadcast in the UK on ITV at 10.15pm, Sunday 24th January.
