Paul Honey (Blandings, Andrew Marr: My Brain and Me) has been invited to score series 4 of the hit Channel 4 series Child Genius (6×60) hosted by Richard Osman.
Child Genius is a competition that’s open to all children between eight and 12, and it’s essentially trying to find very bright kids, kids who are good at maths, English, general knowledge, all sorts of things like that. Kids can nominate themselves from schools, youth clubs, libraries, museums – 20 are then invited to London for six days to take part in a competition – a series of rounds that test different skills – and at the end of it, one of them is crowned Child Genius of the Year.
The 6-part series is scored by Paul Honey and is produced by Wall To Wall for Channel 4. The producer is Paul Bithrey and executive producer Melissa Brown.
The show airs from Monday 14th August.
