From discovering prehistoric treasures in Charmouth to watching hatching signets at Abbotsbury Swannery, explorer Paul Rose sets off on the walk of a lifetime – 630 miles of the South West Coast Path.
The South West Coast Path is one of the world’s best loved walks. At 630 miles in length, it is also England’s longest national walking trail.
Presenter and adventurer Paul Rose finds out about the path’s history, wildlife, and traditions in this five part series scored by Paul Honey.
On his way, Rose discovers adventures around every corner of the peninsular, and tries his hand at outdoor activities from hang gliding and sailing to pot holing.
Coastal Path broadcasts on BBC 2 from November 18th at 8:30pm for 6 weeks.
