Paul Honey nets The Big Fish

From tropical seas to frozen rivers and lakes, this is not just a gripping competition to find Britain’s best all-round angler, but an expedition around the world…

Who will be brave enough to swap the Thames for the Amazon? Or swap Lake Windermere for an alligator-infested swamp, or the coast of Wales for the shores of Central America?

Presented by Ben Fogle, Earth’s Wildest Waters: The Big Fish will see the anglers face extreme temperatures, violent storms and raging currents, as they battle to impress fishing legend Matt Hayes and an expert from each country, who will decide which angler heads home each week.

Earth’s Wildest Waters: The Big Fish is scored by composer Paul Honey (Blandings, Bafta-winning Old Jack’s Boat), executive produced by Tim Martin and series produced by Samantha Beddoes. It broadcasts from October 11th on BBC2 for 6 weeks.
