BBC series scored by Paul Honey nominated for RTS Award

The Big Fish

Presented by Ben Fogle, Earth’s Wildest Waters: The Big Fish has been nominated for a Royal Television Society Award.

The series, broadcast in 2015, was filmed in epic locations including Iceland, Cuba and Zambia and saw anglers from across the UK face extreme temperatures, violent storms and raging currents, as they battled to impress fishing legend Matt Hayes and an expert from each country to become the best all round angler.

Earth’s Wildest Waters: The Big Fish was scored by composer Paul Honey (Blandings, Bafta-winning Old Jack’s Boat), executive produced by Tim Martin and series produced by Samantha Beddoes. It broadcast in October 11th on BBC2 for 6 weeks.

The regional RTS Awards take place on 6th March 2016 in Bristol.
