Daniel Ingram

“It was intimidating to sing for fantasy animation film My Little Pony. Daniel wrote not only an amazing song for me to sing… but he was so constructive in how he went about recording it. I just think the song is really soaring and spectacular…”

Daniel Ingram is a five-time Emmy & Canadian Screen Award nominated songwriter and composer, with 8 Billboard charting albums (and 38,000 twitter followers in tow). Daniel has steadily built a reputation as one of the most in-demand children’s TV and film composers, producers and songwriters working internationally today. Moving seamlessly between orchestral music, pop and songwriting, his repertoire is as distinctive as it is wide-ranging.

Whether it’s an expertly-judged blend of excitement, playfulness and cutting-edge cool in the BBC children’s series, Kate & Mim-Mim, or his sophisticated and stylish underscore for the international wildly-popular feature My Little Pony: The Movie (Hasbro Studios) which went on to gross over $60m, Daniel’s trademark songwriting and scoring skills never fail to impress TV producers, Hollywood studios, and audiences worldwide. His song Welcome To The Show (My Little Pony – Equestria Girls) has garnered over 250 million YouTube hits, while his cumulative catalogue of over 300 song commissions is estimated at one billion online views.

“You’d have to be pretty darned cynical not to either love this movie, or at least admit it’s got a really great soundtrack.”
